Yosemite National Park 2011

Well America, sometimes you just have to get away.
We become so bogged down with the chaos of everyday life, that we loose sight of what's important. God is an amazing artist, the natural landscapes that I saw on my visit to Yosemite left me speechless. There are no words to describe how beautiful His creation is. Isaiah writes in Isaiah 6, how the angels cried out at the glory of God...."Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory."
How often do we take moment to look at what we are blessed with...a bloom of a beautiful flower, the sound of the roaring sea, the subtle sounds of the birds in the trees, or to see a smile of a child embraced by Love.
To know that all that I saw was spoken into creation by God Himself..."the Heaven & the Earth", "the waters", "the grass & the trees" & "the creatures that roam the dry land"...(Genesis 1).
The mass Beauty of His Wonder is to be in Awe of...."The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." Psalm 19:1
Enjoy the scenery....God Bless

Imagining her Dreams!

Tatiana is growing up so fast, hard to believe she is already thinking about what college to attend.
Oh well, that's what children do...."They grow and they go"
I am proud of my LaLa, I know she will excel in whatever career path she chooses.

Kiara Jade at the Park

Well, America I got to have my niece for a weekend. Baby-girl reminded me that it takes a lot of energy to care for a baby. Now that she is mobile, she is a very busy girl....she really kept me on my toes. So I thought what better way to burn off her energy then to take her to the park! When we first got to the park, she was cool with the little toddler area...she was able to crawl around the little jungle gym, and pull herself up on the railings. But when she got a glimpse of the big play area, it was all over. I had to carry her around so she could see everything that the bigger kids were doing.

I know that she would enjoy the play gym more if she could walk.
Be patient Baby Girl your time will come....:o)
Look Aun-Cee! I can pull myself up.....
Now What!

Aun-Cee, I don't think I like sitting on the grass
It's a little itchy, are you sure it's okay?
Can I eat it?
I will grab a hand full and try it out.
I don't know about this!

Aun-Cee, I think I am ready to make a move. I know I can take my first step on my own.
Give me a minute! I gotta think this out....Which foot should I move first?
Well, that went pretty good. I think for now I will stick with walking around Aun-Cee's coffee table.
Wow...Aun-Cee am I really supposed to be amused by this lump of metal.

Really, you are taking pictures of me on the leg of a kid I don't even know.

Baby-Girl had a long day, and I must say the park did the trick. When we got back to the house she ate, had a bath, and it was lights out for the night.

Drummer Girl

I felt it was time to start testing BabyGirl's musical ability. I have been reading about this Einstein stuff for babies and how its best to start teaching babies early. So, I went and got Baby Girl a drum and a few tambourines. This is only her second try at playing, but I think she'll get it in no time.

Peek a Boo

After giving all of her attention to Merci, BabyGirl took pity on me and entertained me with a round of "Peek A Boo"
